AIK Banka started paying dividends for priority shares

Nis-based AIK Banka has announced that it has started paying the dividends for the priority shares for 2008 and 2009, while the day of the dividend, as determined by the internal acts of this banking institution, is December 31st, 2010. The gross amount that will be paid to the owners of priority shares is 6% of the nominal value, that is, 114 dinars per share. AIK Banka has so far issued 37,919 priority convertible shares and 1,212,304 priority cumulative shares, which means that the shareholders will be paid 2.7 million euros.
Earlier, the management of this Nis-based bank announced that the shareholders would be soon paid 10 million euros for the dividend. This most profitable bank in the domestic market still "owes" its shareholders the dividend for the business year 2008 because all the necessary conditions for the payment of the dividend in amount of RSD 447.8m were not created last year, while the funds earmarked for the dividend at this year's assembly of shareholders amount to RSD 341.1m.
