Upgrade of Energy Efficiency in 80 Public Facilities to Take Place in Vojvodina

The president of the Provincial Government, Igor Mirovic, and the regional director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for the Western Balkans, Matteo Colangeli, today signed the Mandate Letter on the Pre-Financing of Projects of Upgrading the Energy Efficiency of Public Facilities in the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina.

This creates the conditions for the borrowing from the EBRD for the improvement of the energy efficiency of 80 public buildings in the territory of Vojvodina.

These are projects that would help realize considerable electricity and heating savings in education, healthcare and other public institutions.

Colangeli stated that it was a very important project and a great opportunity for Vojvodina, because it will enable the self-sustainability of the facilities covered, which will in turn lead to savings in Vojvodina’s budget, as announced on the website of the Government of Vojvodina.
