One Step Closer to Construction of New Pedestrian-Cycling Bridge on the Danube in Novi Sad

The mayor of Novi Sad, Milos Vucevic, has met with representatives of the Chinese company Shandong, the partner on the project of the construction of the new pedestrian-cycling bridge on the Danube and said that the city is a step closer to the construction of the bridge.

– Following the meeting with the Chinese Shandong, we are a step closer to the idea of the construction of the new pedestrian-cycling bridge on the Danube, which will be another link between Petrovaradin and the city. This Chinese corporation has already proven to be a reliable and good partner and there is no doubt that we will make this very important infrastructural structure which gives a whole new, grand dimension to the project of the development of the Petrovaradin suburban area. Novi Sad will develop in a way that was unimaginable only two decades ago! I want to thank our Chinese partners for helping us do so and I know that they too care very much for capital projects such as this – Vucevic wrote on his Instagram profile.
