In line with the recommendation from the decision of the Government of Serbia, Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS) has extended the supply of electrical energy at unchanged prices until November 30.

EPS is extending the contracts on supply for companies whose contracts expired on October 31 until November 30. Also, for those whose contracts on reserve supply expired on October 31, a new contract for November is offered at the price of reserve supply, and, for those who have already signed agreements which came into effect on November 1, the validity of the agreements has been extended until December 1.

– EPS couldn’t help the economy without the government’s decision, because EPS could not lower the prices formed in the market by itself, because the market for the supply of companies is liberalized, this company is not the only one in the market, and that would have violated the regulations – said Bratislav Dzombic, the director of the Sector for Development of Free Market at EPS, at the panel discussion “Price of Electricity for the Economy: What to Expect?”, organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Serbia.
