Registration of employees easier from October 1

- Starting October 1st, the procedure for registration of employees will be simpler since employers will need to fill in only one instead of three forms - Milica Danilovic, the Director of the Central Register of Insurees, announced today.

In her statement for Beta agency Ms. Danilovic reminds that employers now don't have to fill in three application forms and submit them at three different places - in the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund, the Medical Insurance Institute, and the National Employment Agency. Starting October 1st, the procedure will be simpler, quicker and cheaper.

- Employers will be able to choose whether to submit application forms to one of the offices of the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund or the Medical Insurance Fund. The institution that receives the form will forward the data to all other mandatory insurance agencies - said the Director of the Central Register of Insurees.

She also pointed out that the establishment of one-window system in the mandatory social insurance should enable the economy sector save more than 14 million euros on annual basis.

According to Milica Danilovic, in order for employees to be able to check every month if their employers pay their contributions and in what amount, tax application forms must be changed and the Tax Administration and employers must be technically prepared for that.
