Traditional 26th Yugoslav Theater Festival in Uzice from November 1-7

The traditional 26th Yugoslav Theater Festival – No Translation, under the slogan “Talk to me about tenderness”, will be held from November 1 to 7 in Uzice. The seven best plays from the previous season in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro and Serbia will be featured at the festival.

The international jury consists of professor emeritus Vida Ognjenovic, professor Radivoje Dinulovic, PhD, Edvin Liveric, Maja Mrdjenovic and Dario Harjacek.

They will hand out a total of nine awards carrying the ARDALION name, in the categories of: best play, direction, female role, male role, scenography, costume design, supporting role, young actor and a special award for certain elements of the play that are not covered by the previous awards.

After the performance of each play, discussions about the plays will be organized in the hall of the National Theater in Uzice. In addition to the main festival program, a side cultural-art program will be organized as well.
