Construction of Solar Power Plant Within TPP Kolubara B Planned – EPS Opens Tender for Location Research and Preparation of Technical Documentation

The PE Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS) plans to build a solar power plant within the Thermal Power Plant Kolubara B, and the tender for location research and preparation of investment-technical documentation has opened as well.

According to the documentation published by EPS, to the end of the construction of a solar power plant within the TPP Kolubara B, the construction of a solar power plant on the existing facilities (roof surfaces of warehouses and workshops), as well as construction on the ground, has been considered.

The main objective of the preparation of the technical documentation is to define the conditions for the execution of the works and the preparation of the technical documentation for a solar power plant with the optimal installed power in the given location, as well as to ensure the necessary and sufficient amount of data based on which the tendering documentation that will secure an adequate choice of the equipment and the bidder for the construction of the facility can be prepared.

– Considering the volume of the work that the Supplier needs to provide, the priority service pertains to solar power plants on the existing facilities. The Supplier is obliged to complete, as soon as possible, the whole service, so that the Beneficiary of the service could open the public procurement procedure for the construction of solar power plants on the roofs of its facilities within the TPP Kolubara B – the documentation says.

The deadline for the submission of bids is November 23, 2021.
