On audit-consulting company Deloitte's rank list "The Central Europe Top 500", there are 12 companies from Serbia, which entered that list on the basis of their registered sales incomes.
The best ranked Serbian company is Delta Group - 72nd with the registered income of EUR 1.675m, followed by EPS on the 75th and PTT Srbija on the 101st place. This year, NIS is 109th on the CE Top 500 list, while Telekom Srbija ranks 118th. EFT Holdings is 149th, followed by Delta Maxi on the 239th place. Other companies from Serbia that entered this year's CE Top 500 list are: Srbijagas (308th), US Steel Serbia (351st) and Mercator-S (419th).
For the first time ever, the list also includes Jugorosgaz (485th) and Idea (488th). The Top list of insurance companies, ranked by gross calculated premiums, includes Dunav Osiguranje (42nd) and DDOR (50th).
Just like in the previous years, PKN Orlen and MOL kept the leading positions on Deloitte's list. CEZ, the Czech energy giant, is now among top three companies in the region. Contrary to the past years, of which characteristic was high growth of incomes due to increase in oil price, acquisitions and consolidations, this year's incomes of these companies have dropped. However, even the decrease by about 31% did not prevent PKN Orlen from winning the first place on this year's CEO Top 500 list with EUR 15,697.5m.
