Reconstruction of hospital "Sveti Luka" to be continued - 798,000 EUR

The second phase of 798,000 EUR worth of reconstruction of Smederevo-based health center "Sveti Luka" should start soon, the manager, Primarius Dr Dragana Aleksić-Milovanović, announced.

In the scope of project of the Ministry of Health "Urgent Recostruction of Medical Institutions in Serbia", the works are financed from the credit approved by European Investment Bank.

Milovanović said that the works that should start on December 19 would last for 210 days and that they should be completed by the middle of July 2006.

The contractor is Belgrade-based company "Estetika interprojekt". The works will be supervised by company "PMC".

Project "Urgent Recostruction of Medical Institutions in Serbia" includes 20 general hospitals in the Republic and Institute "Torlak" in Belgrade. The credit of 50 million EUR is used for these purposes.
