Agreement signed on co-funding of business-commercial zones in Subotica

Serbian Minister of Infrastructure Milutin Mrkonjic and Subotica Mayor Sasa Vucinic have signed in that town 100 million dinars worth of Agreement on co-funding of infrastructure equipping of business-commercial zones in Subotica.
As Mrkonjic explained, this agreement means that Subotica will be granted RSD 50m this year and another RSD 50m in 2011 for equipping of the industrial zone in Mali Bajmok, which is situated on a section of Y branch (the bypass around Subotica and the access to Kelebija border crossing to Hungary), and near the Second Barracks.
The Minister pointed out that Subotica was the city with maybe the greatest prospects in Serbia and that the Government was creating all conditions for its further economic development.
Vucinic stated that the first installment would be paid in 2010, while another 50 million dinars would be placed at the disposal of Subotica prior to March 1, 2011, not only for the industrial zone, but also for the Second Barracks and the polygon.
He underlined that the Government of Serbia was a good partner of Subotica and added that that cooperation was expanding to all institutions and public companies involved in the equipping.
