Record broken again - Leskovac's barbecuers grilled world's biggest hamburger

(Bojan Cvetkovic and Milos Perovic)
Barbecuers and butchers from Leskovac-based MK Mesara, Bojan Cvetkovic and Milos Perovic, have broken all previous records at Leskovac's Rostiljijada (Barbecue Week) by making and grilling a giant hamburger of 51 kg, which is 3 kg heavier than last year's record-setting hamburger.
Making and grilling of the hamburger took place on the surface in front of the main stage in the presence of few thousand viewers, and the most exciting was the moment when the barbecuers started a complicated process of turning the hamburger.
"They did it, it did not fall apart", a voice was heard from the direction of jury, braking the silence, followed by loud applause and sounds of trumpet band of Bozidar Nikolic Donja.
The diameter of the hamburger "for Guinness" was 127 centimeters, and it was 3.2 cm thick.
The hamburger was placed in a giant bread made by Umipek, and part of it was distributed among the audience, while the rest was given to the Gerontology Center in Leskovac.
