Since yesterday, businessman Vojin Lazarević is not co-owner and vice president of EFT anymore after he sold his share in that company to other co-owners.
As Nenad Savić, communications director of EFT, pointed out, Lazarević split up with the partners after “friendly negotiations that enable separate continuation of realization of interests of both parties". He denied announcements of certain media that Vojin Lazarević left EFT because of political reasons and dispute with the co-owners Vuk Hamović, James Night and Svetislav Bulatović.
Sales Director of EFT, Svetislav Bulatović, pointed out that Serbia and Montenegro would face acute shortage of electricity in 2007 and 2008, the reason for which was that, for the last 15 years, not one facility for production of electric power had been built. According to his words, experts of EFT took into consideration investments of this company in Serbia, but it is still too early to speak about concrete projects that could be realized. However, Bulatović claims, there will be some investments and the confirmation of that is the fact that the headquarters of trade coordination center of EFT is settled in Belgrade. He added that the price of electric power in Serbia was very low and that it could not cover production expenses, so that the demands of the Electric Power Company of Serbia for correction of price were justified.
