Construction of Natural History Center starts in Svilajnac

Serbian Minister of Science and Technology Bozidar Djelic will sign tomorrow (August 25, 2010) in Svilajnac a protocol on funding of the Natural History Center project worth 5 million euros with the representatives of that municipality.

According to the statement given by Djelic's cabinet, the Natural History Center will be a part of the Science Promotion Center, and it will be financed with the money granted by the European Investment Bank to Serbia for research and development in public sector.

The plan is that the construction of the Natural History Center starts in September 2010 and that it be finished prior to May 2012.

Total value of the center is 5 million euros, about 25% of which will be provided by the municipality of Svilajnac.
