Money transfer through Agrobanka to be done by four companies

Through the business network of Agrobanka, the remittances from abroad will soon be paid by four companies that provide services of quick money transfer.

As the Belgrade-based bank announced, these companies are Western Union, MoneyGram, RIA, and Russian Unistrim Bank.

Agrobanka started cooperation with MoneyGram two years ago. Before that, the money transfer through its business network had been carried out by Western Union.

As Agrobanka announced, realization of quick money transfer through companies RIA and Unistrim from Russia is now in its final phase.

The companies that provide the services of money transfer are interested in cooperating with Agrobanka because that bank has a wide business network in Serbia and corresponding relations with over 300 largest banks in the world, and it is also a member of respectable banking associations.

Agricultural bank Agrobanka has announced recently that its profit before taxation in the first half of 2010 amounted to 668 million dinars, which is 22% less than in the same period in 2009.

Agrobanka's total balance of assets at the end of June amounted to about 65 billion dinars, which is 10% more than at the end of 2009.
