Construction of New Car Seat Factory Completed in Kragujevac – Chinese Yanfeng to Create Another 500 Jobs

The Chinese company Yanfeng has completed the construction of a new factory for the production of car seats in Kragujevac, and the production at the new facility is expected to start by the summer of 2022. The company also plans to create around 500 new jobs in the next few years, it has been announced.

– With our new facility in Kragujevac, we are meeting the market demand and expanding the portfolio of our products in Europe – said Chunfeng Xu, the general manager of Yanfeng Seating in Europe.

Yanfeng will produce car seat components for various clients inside this production space of close to 20,000 m2.

The new facility in the Sumadija District is Yanfeng’s second location in Serbia. Since 2019, Yanfeng has had a facility for the production of interior components in Kragujevac.
