Construction of New Clinical Center in Kragujevac to Begin in Mid-2022? – Preparation of Preliminary Design in Progress

The state will invest around EUR 50 million in the University Clinical Center of Kragujevac for the construction of a new building, the reconstruction of existing facilities and the procurement of modern equipment. The works should begin in mid-2022.

A new facility with 20,000 square meters will be built in the area in front of the old building of the University Clinical Center of Kragujevac. The preparation of a preliminary design of the new building is in progress, as is the reconstruction of the existing facilities which are located within the complex of this health institution, toward which two million people gravitate.

Of the total sum of EUR 50 million that the state is to invest in the University Clinical Center of Kragujevac, around EUR 35 million is meant for the construction works.

– Within this reconstruction, 13 to 15 million euros is the sum planned for the procurement of new, capital, top-quality working equipment.
