Famous Italian Hotel Owner Interested in Investments in Serbia

Giuseppe Cipriani, a representative of the fourth generation of the famous Italian family of hospitality and hotel managers, stated exclusively for Tanjug, following a conversation with the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, about the possibilities of investments in Serbia, that he was definitely considering opening a hotel and a restaurant in Belgrade.

When asked when the decision on the investment could be expected, he answered:

– Soon, I hope.

The businessman Andrej Kesic, at whose invitation Cipriani came to Belgrade, says, when asked about how close Cipriani is to deciding to invest in Serbia, that, following the meeting, the decision is at “9.9 on a scale of 1 to 10”.

– We’ve had a phenomenal conversation. Cipriani is world-renowned and, if he decides to come to Belgrade, Serbia, we will be one of the nine destinations where Cipriani has his facilities. We would put Serbia and Belgrade on the map of the world – Kesic said.

According to him, Cipriani has also been invited to Beirut, Montenegro, Doha, but has decided to come to Belgrade to discuss this.

When asked whether any other big name could be expected to come to Belgrade, Kesic says that, in around two weeks, Marco Bizzarri, the CEO of Gucci, representatives of Accor Group and other hotel chains, as well as the supermodel Naomi Campbell, are all expected to visit Serbia.
