Erste Bank Selling Fabrika Vode in Zrenjanin

Erste Bank has announced that it has initiated the procedure of the sale of Fabrika Vode in Zrenjanin, in order for the outstanding debts to be settled.

– In the past years, as one of the interested parties, we have actively participated in all the talks and negotiations, trying to do everything in our power for the water factory to fulfill its purpose. Unfortunately, in order to protect our investment, we finally had to start the procedure of settling the obligations of the debtor Fabrika Vode Zrenjanin, in line with the Law on Lien on Movable Property and Registered Rights – Erste Bank says and notes that an official memo was sent on July 20, 2021.

Erste Bank says that they want to settle the outstanding debt by selling the factory as a whole, complying with the current regulations which define the settling of outstanding debts.

– We hope that, during the execution of this procedure, a purchaser will appear which will restart the production at the factory and enable the delivery of chemically and bacteriologically tested water to all citizens of Zrenjanin – the press release adds.
