All the facilities built for personal residence that were raised by 2015 will be listed in the land register be decree, Vecernje Novosti learns unofficially.

The new round of legalization, according to the daily, mostly concerns the poorest citizens who broke the law in order to get a roof over their heads.

Great care will be taken for facilities built in the past six years not to be legalized, because their owners have committed a criminal offense and they will all be processed.

Those who broke the law by building illegally in order to make a profit or expand their business will stand no chance of having their facilities legalized. The new regulations will be extremely strict toward the individuals who start establishing the foundations without a permit after the new law is announced.

In Serbia, the owners of nearly two million facilities are waiting for them to be legalized. The fees for those who get listed in the land register by this state decree is not yet known, Novosti writes.

The legalization law was adopted in 2015, and only 7,500 decisions on tearing down facilities built without a permit have been adopted so far.
