Bridge near Beška to be built by local consortium?


According to the well-informed sources of “Dnevnik”, among seven prequalified companies for construction of new bridge across the Danube near Beška and rehabilitation of existing bridge, the expert team nominated local consortium.
Technical commission checked offered solutions of all candidates and estimated combination of steel and concrete as the best. Although steel has higher price, it is seven times lighter than concrete, which was estimate as the ideal solution for bridging of big river.
Technical Commission will today name local consortium as the best bidder for future bridge near Beška to the Tender Commission, which is expected to forward the name to the European Bank for Rehabilitation and Development that approved credit for this project in amount of about €60m.
Local consortium is made of “Mostogradnja”, “Planum”, two big holdings MIN and “Goša” and Vranje-based “Zavarivač”.
