High-speed Internet and easier phoning in Kosovska Mitrovica - ZoviMe installed WiFi Moto Mash Network

In association with Profi Tim in Kosovska Mitrovica, Belgrade-based ZoviMe has put in operation WiFi Moto Mash Network, which makes it possible for the citizens of Kosovska Mitrovica to access Internet in the city streets.
Besides, this system represents a substitute for mobile telephony, which means that, independently of the mobile operator, all WiFi-enabled mobile telephones can be used for making phone calls to people all around the world at much lower prices and without roaming. Serbian mobile networks in Kosovska Mitrovica and other Serbian enclaves are endangered and may be shut down, while this system enables normal communication with the whole world.
The system facilitates classical and portable access to Internet at any place (in city center, streets, parks, public space, cultural centers, educational institutions, campuses and school yards, hospitals, nearby residential facilities, etc.), VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) services for local and international phone calls (up to 10 times cheaper) to any fixed or mobile network around the world, as well as voice services on mobile telephone (all mobile telephones of the new generation support WiFi technology).
The system also enables public and private video monitoring in real time, connecting of all public services into a single network, school video monitoring, ICTV, which is important for the security of the citizens of Kosovska Mitrovica and enclaves, as well as implementation of Intelligent Lighting system into the public lighting system, which contributes to making electricity savings of up to 50% on the level of the city.
Additional advantages are: high-quality transfer of video conferences, high-speed surfing, online gaming, online education, quick access to all kinds of information, etc.
ZoviMe is the first and the only domestic telecommunications company that works on development of Metro WiFi Internet network in the partnership with U.S. Motorola. So far, about EUR 800,000 have been invested in the project, while the projected investments for this year amount to 5 million euros.
