Negotiations with Slovaks on sale of Subotica-based Bratstvo - 5.4 million euros offered for factory of railway vehicles

- Slovakian company Tatravagonka was the only bidder on the tender for railway vehicles factory Bratstvo in Subotica and it is going to negotiate on acquisition of that company - the Privatization Agency of Serbia announced today (July 27, 2010).

The company has offered the price of 5.4 million euros and an investment programme worth 3 million euros.

The tender for sale of Bratstvo, a company in restructuring, was announced in June, after unsuccessful privatization.

Bratstvo has about 250 employees, and the buyer is obliged to keep all of them for minimum three years.

The Agency already negotiated with Tetravagonka on sale of that company in early 2009, but they failed to reach the agreement.
