The first international forum on energy management at local level will be held in Nis on September 17. The energy management forum will gather about 300 participants. The meeting will be attended by foreign and domestic lecturers from the field, representatives of embassies, economy sector, investors, banks, chambers, expert-development organizations, and local self-government.
The first international forum on energy management is organized by the Central European Development Forum (CEDEF) under the patronage of the Ministry of Energy and Mining of Serbia and in association with Serbian Energy Efficiency Agency and the city of Nis, the first city in Serbia to form the Energy Efficiency Council.
The organizers expect the meeting to become traditional and the forthcoming forum to be an opportunity for Nis to present numerous activities within the scope of celebration of 1700th anniversary of the Milan Edict, and primarily the idea of installing the city lighting system in the year of the jubilee.
The first international forum on energy management will also be an opportunity for exchange of experiences, as well as ideas from that domain, between countries. On that occasion, the cities from Serbia and foreign countries will present their best energy management projects.
