Equipping of Industrial Zone in Velika Plana to Start – Tenders for Contractors by the End of the Year

Serbian Economy Minister Andjelka Atanaskovic adopted the decision to have RSD 41,000,000 awarded to Velika Plana on June 21. The funds are meant for the equipping of the Industrial Zone North (“Sever”), which is located at the exit from the town toward Veliko Orasje.

– The funds must be used in line with the project that we applied with. This entails the construction of the water supply and the sewer systems and the setting up of electrical energy installations, from the existing substation – says engineer Miodrag Skoric, the head of the Department for Economy and Local Economic Development.

He does not exclude the possibility of having a part of the funds spent on installing telecommunications infrastructure in the industrial zone.

The Ministry of Economy is to carry out the tender and select the contractor.

– The whole public procurement procedure needs to be finished within this calendar year, after which the works are to start – Skoric points out.
