Đorđević invests €50m in "Havaje"

Well-known businessman from Belgrade Nenad Đorđević plans to start construction of luxurious hotel-suite settlement and marina after New Year. The value of the investment is estimated to about €50m.

Đorđević said that his idea was development of elite and not mass tourism, as well as that there was not one exclusive location in Montenegro for high-paid clients similar to Sveti Stefan. – One third of the island is owned by me. Several hectares will be urbanized in the first phase. We plan to have about 250 rooms built, as well as marina for 80-100 vessels. The project elaborated by famous local and foreign architects has been completed and we wait for the license. We have complete building operative and expect to start construction in February, at the latest – said Đorđević.

He thinks that the first part, the suite complex by the sea, could be finished until the beginning of the next season. Other contents will be built successively until 2007. According to his words, each of 250 rooms will have one bed and all will have view of the sea. Construction of six-storey hotel and yachting club for the yacht owners is also in the pipeline. It is the high-category hotel with the restaurant and business center with stores on the ground floor, whereas the first and the second floor are reserved for rooms. Nightclub and casino will be settled on the higher floors. The yachting-club will have all contents required for maintenance of servicing of yachts, from the gas station to cleaning services.

Montenegrin Assembly should soon adopt Plan for territory of special purpose for Sea good, which will be formal approval of realization of this project.
