Regional mega company to be formed, "Grand prom", "Droga" and "Kolinska" to unite

The biggest manufacturer of coffee in Serbia and Montenegro, Belgrade-based "Grand Prom", announced that it would enter strategic partnership with Slovenian food companies "Droga" and "Kolinska".

President of "Grand prom", Slobodan Vučićević, will be one of the major stockholders in the new group and general director of coffee operations. Management of "Grand prom" will be in charge of activities on the territory of Southeast Europe. The contract stipulates joint investments and distribution, winning of new markets and exchange of stocks between the partners. Besides the fact that it is leader on the coffee market in Serbia, "Grand prom" is also very active in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In the name of all 3 companies, Vučićević announced that the factory for production of popular pate "argeta" and unit for processing and packaging of coffee would be built in Sarajevo.

Companies "Grand prom", "Droga" and "Kolinska" will keep all existing brands and develop new ones through partnership.

According to official data, company "Grand prom" is leader on the market of SCG and covers 45% of the market. This company sold 15 million kg of coffee in 2004.
