"BIS Recycling Center" exported today (July, 13th, 2010) the first of six containers, which are contingent of 100 tons, of non-recyclable electronic and electrical (EE) waste in Singapore.
The company "Bozic i sinovi," consisting of "BIS Recycling center", has signed a multi-year contract with the renowned Singaporean company on export of EE waste in Singapore. "Bozic i Sinovi" was the first company which exports non recyclable materials in that country.
- Non recyclable part of EE waste that we will export represents the rest of decompiled electronic and electrical equipment, printed boards, memory, processors, cards and other components - as explained by the Manager of "BiS Recycling center", Bozidar Potkonjak.
In Serbia, as well as in most European countries, there are no adequate facilities and high tech solutions for final recycling of such waste, while at the global level there are only few specialized factories.
- Our partner is a renowned Singaporean company which is authorized and specialized for final recycling of EE waste. We are proud that our partners have recognized high standards and a professional method of "BIS Recycling center" in the field of collection and treatment of EE waste - Potkonjak said.
It is expected that "BIS Recycling center" will export about 200 tons of non recyclable EE waste in the first year of exports to Singapore.
