Luxury Ski-Resort Viceroy Kopaonik to Open on June 15 – Infusion of California and Hollywood on Serbia’s Most Famous Mountain

Hotel and Ski-Resort Viceroy Kopaonik Serbia officially opens on June 15, and it will welcome its first guests a day later, the general manager of the hotel Goran Kovacevic, announced.

Kopaonik is the first European destination of the famous international hotel group Viceroy, and the opening of a hotel in Portugal is to follow this summer.

– Getting another facility in Serbia, Belgrade, or the region in the upcoming period is not out of the question – Kovacevic said.

This ski resort has 119 rooms of various structures, and, according to Kovacevic, it is the first fully ski-in, ski-out resort on Kopaonik.



In addition to the reception hall and the foyer, there’s also a library, and the hotel also has three conference halls and meeting rooms, as well as a spa center and pools and three restaurants.

– Guests can already book accommodation for the summer season, but also the winter season, and we’ve already had the first reservations – Kovacevic emphasized.

The hotel will have around 150 employees in the season.

Bill Walshe, the CEO of Viceroy Hotels & Resorts, headquartered in Los Angeles, pointed out that the experience provided to the guests at the hotel on Kopaonik would be “unlike anything available in Serbia at the moment”.

– This is the best ski-in, ski-out experience you can imagine. An experience with an infusion of California and Hollywood – Walshe said.
