Organization of Congresses and Professional Gatherings of up to 100 People Allowed

At the proposition of Serbian Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Tatjana Matic, the Crisis Response Team has reached the decision allowing the organization of congresses and professional gatherings of up to 100 people.

The minister thereby supported the initiative of the Business Association of Hotel and Restaurant Industry of Serbia (HORES) and proposed to the Crisis Response Team for the proposition of the allowing of the organization of professional gatherings and congresses of up to 100 people to be adopted, the ministry announced.

– I fully agree with the proposed initiative of HORES and I welcome the decision of the Crisis Response Team, which will further stimulate the sector of hospitality-tourist economy, the most affected one during the COVID-19 pandemic. Thanks to the fact that a large number of citizens have been vaccinated and the increasingly better epidemiological situation in our country, I believe that now is the right moment for this kind of an initiative to be adopted – Matic stated.
