New Tourist Complex “Kocin hrast” Opens not Far from Jagodina

The “Kocin hrast” tourist complex, the newest pearl of Jagodina, located next to the Great Morava, only eight kilometers from the city, officially opened during the May 1 holidays.

One of the largest attractions will be a tourist boat, more precisely, a catamaran, which will have two levels and 20 seats. It is meant for sailing along the Great Morava, but the exact river route is not yet known.

At the same time, a restaurant has been established, there are two terraces, a stone terminal for the tourist boat and a promenade by the river, footpaths, an amphitheater for cultural and entertainment events, a sports court, a children’s playground with street furniture and summer vacation facilities with barbecue spots.

The director of the PE Uredjenje i javno osvetljenje, Boba Tomic, says that a whole new traffic route from the Cultural Center to the vacation site has been done, as well as a parking lot for 300 cars, benches, parks and road-signs from the highway – all this so that the tourists would find their way around more easily.
