Actavis opens office in Montenegro - Company's cardiovascular product range promoted in Plavnica

Pharmaceutical company Actavis, one of the world's leading generic pharmaceutical companies, has announced the opening of its branch office in Montenegro. The meeting that was attended by over 100 guests, including the representatives of the Montenegrin Government, doctors, pharmacists, the representatives of wholesale drugstores and media companies, was officially opened by Dr. Pavle Marjanović, Actavis CEO for Serbia and Montenegro, who presented the development plan and goals of Actavis on that occasion.

- We are proud of managing to open another Actavis branch office in the world in spite of all challenges in one of the most difficult years for business, and it is a special honor to have that branch office opened in Montenegro where we continue the long-time tradition that was built for years by Leskovac-based Zdravlje. The aim of Actavis in Montenegro is to become the key partner of medical community through development and offer of high-quality generic drugs of the latest generation. Our wish is that Actavis' palette of drugs be in accordance with the needs of contemporary therapies and, in addition, we must make sure that the prices of our drugs make them accessible to all those in need of them - Dr. Pavle Marjanović said at the meeting in Plavnica.

Professor Zorana Vasiljević from the Clinical Hospital of Serbia and Prim. Dr. Sci. Božidarka Knežević from the Clinical Hospital of Montenegro presented Actavis' cardiovascular products at the meeting.
