Serbian food producers sealed the EUR 8 million export deal to Russia

Eleven companies from Serbia have secured new deals worth EUR 8m during the food industry fair Prodexpo in Moscow, Serbian Chamber of Commerce (SCC) announced.

- Eleven companies, 12 new contracts, and EUR 8 million in exports of new products have been agreed - said the director of the SCC Representative Office in Moscow, Dejan Delic.

The head of Serbian diplomacy, Nikola Selakovic, visited the National Pavilion of Serbia at this fair.

- These companies export more than USD 50 million to the demanding Russian market, which is to be respected, but there are great opportunities for increasing that export - said Selakovic.

Marko Obradovic, Director of the Marketing and Education Sector of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (SCC), explains that Prodexpo is a fair at which Serbian companies traditionally make excellent contracts and good deals.

- There is a lot of interest. This is the fourth day of the fair, we have great talks, the companies are very satisfied with the contacts that have been established - said Obradovic
