Zijin Employs 500 Workers Last Year – USD 46.3 Million in Taxes Paid to State Budget

Last year, Serbia Zijin Copper employed 500 citizens in Bor and Majdanpek and paid USD 46.3 million in taxes to the state budget, the company announced.

The company employs 5,446 workers, who earn RSD 94,865 a month on average, that is, 13.75% more than in 2019. In 2020, 127 local students got the opportunity to go through practical training at the company.

As said, the company, hoping to stimulate the economy and employment, has agreed business cooperation in engineering design, construction and technical services with numerous local companies, thanks to which more than half the populace of Bor and Majdanpek has some kind of direct or indirect benefit from the company.
