German Stock Market Index DAX Above 15,000 Points for the First Time in History

The German stock market index DAX has crossed the threshold of 15,000 points for the first time in history.


DAX has reached a new record of 15,030 points, which is far above the previous record of 14,845 points.

This is helped by the growing exchange rate before and after the Easter holidays.

Similar to late 2020, ahead of the Christmas holidays, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange has a tendency to record a rising exchange rate in the weeks before and after Easter, German media report.
