Reconstruction of 11 Bridges Between Serbia and B&H Agreed

The Board for Spatial Planning, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications of the National Assembly of Serbia has adopted the Draft Law on the Confirmation of the Agreement Between the Government of Serbia and the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the Maintenance and Reconstruction of Interstate Bridges Between the Two Countries.

The agreement envisages the reconstruction of 11 bridges, of which Serbia would repair six, and Bosnia and Herzegovina five.

This would facilitate border crossing for many people who travel across these bridges using the public transport and it would also facilitate the transport of goods across the border, because the current condition of the bridges allows only for pedestrians and smaller vehicles to go across them.
