Citizens of EU, Switzerland, Norway and Iceland need ID card to enter Serbia

Starting from Saturday, June 12, the citizens of the European Union countries, as well as Switzerland, Norway and Iceland, can travel to Serbia with ID card.
The Serbian Government adopted on May 28 the Decision about the countries whose citizens can enter Serbia with valid ID card starting from June 12.
The Government's Decision is published in Serbia's "Official Bulletin" on June 4, and it is specified that it becomes effective on the eighth day from the day it is published.
People from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia told Tanjug earlier that the Border Police Administration was organizationally and technically equipped and prepared for border control.
People from aforementioned countries who enter Serbia with ID card will be able to stay in our country for up to 90 days.
