RERI: Administrative Court Cancels Construction Permit for Kalemegdan Gondola

The Administrative Court has made a ruling whereby the lawsuit of the Renewables and Environmental Regulatory Institute (RERI) is upheld and the construction permit for the building of a gondola system on Kalemegdan, issued by the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure on April 1, 2019, is canceled, the RERI announces.

– The Administrative Court has fully upheld the argumentation of the RERI’s legal team, noting, among other things, that the execution of preparatory works was legally impossible without a previously obtained approval of an environmental impact study – the announcement says.

The issue of the construction of the Belgrade gondola has been made current after nearly two years.
