German Store Chain Bauhaus Confirms Arrival to Serbia

Bauhaus, a specialized chain of home and garden equipment stores, is arriving to the Serbian market. This has been confirmed for the Retail Serbia portal by Samo Kupljen, the company’s manager for Slovenia and Serbia. Still, he couldn’t specify the exact date when the first retail center in Serbia might open.

Unofficially, the German chain plans to initiate its operations in Serbia from Belgrade by opening a larger outlet.

Bauhaus is one of the largest retail chains of home and garden equipment stores, fostering the DYI (do it yourself) principle. Its offer features more than a hundred thousand products, expert advice and delivery service.

The company was founded in 1960 and currently operates in Germany, Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Iceland, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Norway, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, Sweden and Switzerland.
