Podravska Banka bought 9.3% of Atlasmont Banka in Podgorica for EUR 3.56 million

- Podravska Banka from Croatia has bought 9.3% of shares of Atlasmont Banka in Podgorica for EUR 3.56m - the media in Podgorica announced.

The shares of the bank, which is run by Montenegrin businessman Duško Knežević, were bought on Monday on NEX Montenegroberza.

Knežević told Vijesti that "it is good that a famous regional bank became a more significant shareholder in Atlasmont Banka".

- The shares in Atlasmont Banka were sold by Italian families Gorgoni and Montinari who, together with Trieste-based company Cerere, have the share in Podravska Banka - Podgorica's daily newspaper Dan announced.

The owner of Cerere is Miljan Todorović from Podgorica who lives in Italy and owns 19% of shares of Podravska Banka, one of the oldest banks in Croatia.

Todorović, Italian insurance and investment company Generali and Gorgoni and Montinari families are the majority owners of the Podgorica Mortgage Bank.
