Austrialian company interested in Copper Mine, investments worth 100 million USD in the pipeline

Australian company "Viks resources limited" from Perth was interested in procurement of Copper Mine in Majdanpek, general director of that company for Europe, Miloš Bošnjaković, announced.

He announced that the company planned to invest about 100 million USD within next 15 years and that the privatization would be accompanied with the suitable social program that will be satisfying to both workers and local community.

Final decision on this issue would be made on tender in March 2006, RTV Zaječar announced. (Tanjug)
