RATEL solved dilemmas - Decision made on terms of interconnection between Telekom Srbija and Telenor

The Republic Telecommunications Agency (RATEL) made the decision today (June 7, 2010) that defines the prices and terms under which Telenor will be using the fixed telecommunication infrastructure of Telekom Srbija.

- The decision stipulates that Telekom Srbija and Telenor should regulate their mutual relations on the basis of the decision within 30 days from the day it is submitted, under the threat of enforcement - it is stated in RATEL's announcement.

According to RATEL's announcement, that decision defines the terms and prices of interconnection services of public fixed telecommunications networks.

It is reminded in the announcement that RATEL has made the decision to issue the second license for fixed broadband network, that is, to enable the owner of the second license to offer public fixed telecommunications services by using the public fixed telephone network of Telekom Srbija in order to introduce competition to the telecommunications market of Serbia, which is of great importance and interest to all citizens and juristic persons in our country.
