GSP Beograd Opens Procurement of 100 New Gas-Powered Articulated Buses

The Belgrade public transport company GSP Beograd has opened the public procurement procedure for the purchase of 100 new articulated buses.

According to the tendering documentation, the procurement of new low-floor articulated buses is envisaged. All the buses must be of the same brand and the same style. The model offered by the bidder must be serially produced.

– The term “new bus” entails an unused bus produced in 2021/22, with a whole new structure and whole new aggregates, assemblies, sub-assemblies, components and other installations. The vehicle must not have a milage of over 2,000 km when handed over – the documentation says.

It is added that the installation of a standard gas supply connection of the NGV 2 type, set in the rear part on the right side of the vehicle, is required. The capacity of the bottles for the storage of compressed gas, installed on the bus, should allow for exploitation of at least 450 km, measured by the SORT II method, until the next charging.

Along with the buses, diagnostic devices and equipment are being procured, and the training of the staff and technical support during the guarantee period are also envisaged. The delivery deadline period is 250 to 330 days from the signing of the agreement.

Let us remind that Radisa Momcilovic, the director of the PUE GSP Beograd, and Aleksandar Tomasevic of DAT Holding have signed an agreement on the purchase of ten electric buses, worth slightly under EUR 6 million.
