Hifa Oil to Build Gas Terminal in Municipality of Lukavac – Group Planning Hotel and Air Fuel Storage Near Tuzla Airport

The prime minister of the Tuzla Canton, Kadrija Hodzic, has met with Izudin Ahmetlic and Venan Hadziselimovic, the general manager and the executive manager of Hifa Oil Group to discuss the development and investment projects that the group plans to implement in the territory of this canton.

One of the biggest announced investments is the construction of the gas terminal in Dobosnica in the Municipality of Lukavac, as announced on the website of the Government of the Tuzla Canton.

– A terminal of a total capacity of around 3,000 tons, which would be the biggest one in Bosnia and Herzegovina, would stabilize the gas market in the country. The main objective of this project is to secure the energy stability of Bosnia and Herzegovina in terms of supply of gas, oil and oil products – Ahmetlic said.

In addition to this project, Ahmetlic and Hadziselimovic presented the plans for the construction of a hotel in close proximity to the International Airport in Tuzla, as well as the project of construction of a modern air fuel storage and the overall raising of the degree of security of the delivery of fuel for the purposes of the airport.

– The government will undoubtedly be a partner in the realization of these activities. We are here to help accelerate the activities or remove the administrative barriers and enable the realization of these investments as soon as possible – Hodzic said.

Hifa Oil Group is the biggest private distributor of oil and oil products in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but through the companies operating within it, it is also active in other related fields.
