Application for International Fintech Company Contest by May 7

Fintech companies from Serbia may apply by May 7 to take part in the regional contest within the international innovation program “Everywhere Initiative” of the Visa company.

The best in the region stands to receive USD 15,000, and if they place first on the global level, the prize is USD 50,000, Visa announced.

The regional finals are scheduled for June 8, and the global contest final is to take place on September 14, 2021.

Fintech companies from the whole world, including Serbia, will have an opportunity to present their ideas to an expert jury consisting of representatives of the payment industry.

The companies that place second and third also stand to receive prizes, as does the audience.

The program was first launched in the USA in 2015 and quickly spread globally – it is present on six continents and in more than 100 countries.

So far, over 7,000 startups have taken part in the program, collecting USD 2.5 billion.
