Serbian Budget Deficit at 8.3% of GDP in 2020

The deficit of the state budget of Serbia in 2020 is RSD 459.1 billion, amounting to 8.3% of the gross domestic product (GDP), according to the Report on Macroeconomic and Fiscal Data of the Ministry of Finance.

The result is better than planned by RSD 24 billion, that is, by 0.5% of the GDP, as announced on the ministry’s web page.
