Prototype of portable computer of 100 USD represented

At the World summit on information society, which was held in Tunisia in period from November 16 to 18, 2005, the prototype of 100 USD worth of portable computer (laptop) was represented.

This device can works as a computer, electronic book or audio-video player and it will be using Linux or some other operative system that has open source.

The applications that will be used will also be based on open source and they will be available in all languages. (Tanjug)
