LONCAR: First phase of the production of the Russian vaccine begins at Torlak in two and a half months

Serbian Health Minister Zlatibor Loncar says that the first phase of the production of the Russian vaccine at Torlak will begin in two and a half months and that the second phase, entailing the production of the vaccine from the serum, might start in six months.

– We have bought the machine for the first phase of the production and by the end of the week, we will have people from Russia come over to see what needs to be done. We also need to acquire several other special items. As soon as we do, we will be ready to start the first phase. This is very important and it is a great advantage and security to have our own production – Loncar said.
