Together with experts from the Torlak Institute and the Ministry of Health, Popovic had a meeting with Daniil Talyansky, a member of the board of directors at the Generium organization. Generium is the largest Russian producer of the Sputnik V vaccine – in Vladimir Oblast in Russia.
Talyansky, as said, confirmed the readiness of the Russian side to carry out the transfer of the technologies and help train the Serbian staff to produce the Russian coronavirus vaccine in Serbia.
– The Russian side immediately responded to our plea to have the Sputnik V vaccine produced in Serbia and the top tier of the Russian state authorities ordered for a way to be found to have the vaccine produced in Serbia as soon as possible – Popovic said.
According to him, at the moment, outside the territory of the Russian Federation, Sputnik V is produced only in Kazakhstan.
