Construction of new €500,000 worth of warehouse for Film Library, aid of French Government

Construction of up-to-date movie warehouse in this part of Europe will start at the end of 2005.

Project documentation has been prepared for 2 years and the storage space will be built thanks to the donations of the Government of France and Republic Ministry of Culture of about €500,000.

The Government of Republic of France set aside €291,334 for this project, while the Government of Serbia provided €153,867. French Government has also assigned additional means of about €70,000, whereas the Ministry of Finance set aside 8m CSD worth of aid for the first phase of construction.

The storage space will occupy 780 square meters on 4 levels. About 92,000 copies of the movies in various formats will be preserved in it in the conditions regulated by world standards, with up-to-date equipment fire-fighting system.
