Cornerstone laid for construction of advanced school of business in Leskovac - investment worth EUR 3.65m

Within the scope of the School for the Future project, the Minister of Education of Serbia, Žarko Obradović, and the Ambassador of Kingdom of Norway to Belgrade, Hakon Blankenborg, laid the cornerstone yesterday (May 11, 2010) in Leskovac for construction of a new building of the Advanced School of Business.

On that occasion, Obradović pointed out that Kingdom of Norway, the Ministry of Education and local self-government of the City of Leskovac would invest EUR 3.65m in construction of that facility.

According to his words, the Ministry of Education will set aside EUR 1m, the local self-government of the City of Leskovac will provide EUR 700,000, while the school itself will give EUR 100,000.

He said that the facility at 300 square meters should be built in 15 months and added that it was the second largest investment in the educational sector in Serbia. The construction contract was signed by company Centum in early January 2010.
